About Me
I’m 19 years old and from Burley, Leeds.
I have previous experience in childcare and i am looking to expand it in the future.
My experience varies from babysitting on the weekends to working in a after school club and working in a soft play centre hosting children’s parties.
I regularly babysit a 8 month old baby a few nights a week for my husband’s friend on sporadic days.
A child’s happiness and well-being are top priorities for me. We live in such a high-pressure world so it’s important to teach children that who they are is enough and to support them in whatever they choose to do.
I absolutely love children and can’t wait to pursue a career in childcare.
My Experience
I started childminding at 15 for children in my local area (for family & friends) and this then lead me to getting a job in a after school club as a play worker.
My responsibilities everyday were:
• Setting up the arts and crafts table and encouraging children to get involved with something new to make everyday.
• Reading to the younger children and listening to the older children read.
•Helping the children with homework.
• Setting out a snack table and encouraging any children to eat who needs it.
With the same company i worked weekends at a soft play centre hosting children’s birthday parties.
My responsibilities were:
•Leading party games such as: Pass the parcel, musical chairs and treasure hunts.
•Setting out a birthday lunch for all the children
•Leading the singing of Happy birthday and helping the child safely cut the cake.
•Organising party bags and handing them out to the children.
I also babysit a 8 month old on sporadic days, mostly evenings. His mum leaves me a list of what she would like me to do that evening.
My responsibilities with him are:
• I feed him the food his mum leaves out for him (He has just started eating soft foods)
• I play with him regularly and engage him into picture books and toys as he is allowed limited screen time.
•On warm evenings i take him on walks in his pushchair.
•I bathe him
•Rock him to sleep with his formula.
My Qualifications
GCSE : Passes in English, Math, Business and Food technology.
BTEC: Level 2 & 3 in business.
My Availability
I am available 7 days a week at all times.
I don’t do overnight stays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
My fees are £9 per hour from the hours of 7am to 8pm.
Any hours before or after that, the fee is £10 per hour.
