About Me

I am a mother to two grown up children. I am very active and love the outdoors and care about the environment children grow up in. I am looking for work as a nanny/mother’s help.
I am a calm, patient person and I believe it is important to model good manners and kindness. I enjoy having fun with children, watching them learn, seeing them gain skills and having conversations of great imagination!
I believe there is a time to encourage and a time to correct and that consistency is paramount.
I aim to model healthy living from mindset, physical activity and good food.
I have been fortunate to have worked with some fantastic families over the past 3 years since my time working in a nursery/preschool environment. I can currently offer Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
I am very happy to take children out on day trips or stay local/at home to enjoying toys, games, baking or creating.

My Experience

I home educated my own children through their primary years which enabled me to closely observe their gifts, strengths and weaknesses and to encourage them in areas where they showed interest or talent.
I also organised an athletics group for home educated children.
Over the past 2 1/2 years I have been working as a nanny with a few families, but mainly 2. Two families I have been with for almost 2 years now, and my third family since the beginning of 2026. Families I have helped range from with newborn babies, 2-4 year olds and also 5- 12 year olds. I’ve also briefly supported a family with twins.
