About Me
Hi! My name is Hazel - I'm 26 years old, and looking to gain more childcare experience as I'll be studying for a degree in Primary Education from next month. I do already have some childcare experience, and absolutely love working with children of all ages. I have my own car with a full clean license and am more than willing to travel to and from activities with children. I'm able to provide most services; babysitting, cleaning, basic meal preparation, activities, assistance with homework, reading/writing etc - you name it, I'll be more than happy to help!
I'm a fun, friendly and approachable person who's easy to get along with and have a natural way with children - I'm the eldest of 4 siblings so I've seen everything!
My Experience
Alongside babysitting my own siblings and for various family friends, I do have some more professional experience.
I worked in a children's soft play centre for around a year, doing everything from keeping the children entertained and playing games, to hosting birthday parties and face painting sessions (and even wearing a tiger mascot costume on occasion!) I've also worked with younger children as part of a youth theatre group, and with older children at an adventure summer camp too. I also currently volunteer with my local Rainbows group on Monday evenings.
My Qualifications
Although I don't currently hold any childcare qualifications, I am working towards my degree in Primary Education, and have an enhanced DBS check.
I am also first aid trained.
My Availability
My availability is currently evenings and weekends, with a varying number of full days when I am free during the week. I also have full availability from early December to late February, and throughout the summer holidays from May-September.
