About Me
I am a caring, patient and engaged nanny. I love to have fun as well as teach life skills, to help children to build their confidence. My career in primary education has furthered my knowledge in child development and provided me with a great deal of experience in caring for and nurturing children.
I am a very creative person and love all things arts & crafts, music, dancing and drama related. Being a trained teacher, I am confident to provide quality learning opportunities and fun activities to keep children engaged and happy. I am equally as happy engaging in the children's interests or whatever the family would like me to focus on.
I am a positive person and prefer to take a calm and considerate approach to behaviour. I use nurture-based methods and restorative practices to help children process big and small feelings or any issues they are having. I am experienced in caring for children with ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.
I enjoy cooking and having children involved in the process with me. I like to cook balanced and healthy meals, and particularly enjoy Asian cooking (especially Thai, after my 3 years living and working there). Spending time outside is important for good health and wellbeing, so I like to make sure there is time for outdoor activities each day.
As well as childcare, I am available to do light housekeeping and homework help with school-age children.
My Experience
I have over 10 years’ experience teaching and caring for children between the ages of 2 and 12 years old. I have worked in diverse schools in Scotland and worked as a teacher delivering the English Programme for a private school/nursery in Thailand.
During my teacher training, I nannied for multiple families of school-age children where I helped with after school care, homework, household duties and evening routines.
For the past year, I have been tutoring online and working with a family in Edinburgh, helping to take care of their children (aged 2 and 4). I am currently looking for a lovely family to work with in the south of Glasgow, where I now live.
My Qualifications
I studied at the University of Strathclyde, achieving my bachelor’s degree in Primary Education. I am a fully registered teacher and have a membership with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. As well as this, I have a PVG and an overseas background check from Thailand.
My Availability
I am available during the week, excluding Tuesdays. I can work from morning to early evening, and occasionally do late evening work.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £15/hour per family. Additional costs will be added for the care of more than 3 children.
