About Me
I am 18 years old and I've just completed my A-Levels in English Literature and Language, Sociology and Music BTEC in which I received an A, B and a distinction. I have a passion for reading, writing and music and enjoy sharing my love of these with other individuals. Before going to university next autumn, I am enjoying a gap year, and I would love to help provide a safe and happy care system for families. Having worked in a kitchen for two years, I am organized, clean and have good stamina in keeping up with a newly walking toddler or keeping a child entertained with games and toys. To add to this, working with children has given me great problem-solving skills when it comes to a change of plan that may not be received so well by a sleepy kid.
My Experience
I worked as a child-minders assistant for a year before covid hit, working with children ranging from ages 2 - 11, providing food planning for snack time, day visits out and nap times. I also have babysat for several different families, taking day trips out, putting them to bed as well as cooking meals for them.
My Qualifications
Whilst working as a child-minder assistant, I gained many tools for properly providing for young children. These include organization, time management, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for new games.
