My Experience
This past summer I spent 3 months working as a councilor on a summer camp in California. This job involved 24/7 care for children aged 6-17. It mainly regarded ensuring they were enjoying their time and that all their needs were met. The children were amazing and I have been asked to return next year, which I definitely will. Additionally, I used to volunteer at a rainbows unit and have further experience caring for children through my little sister who is 7 years younger than me.
My Qualifications
For my job as a camp councillor I had to undergo 3 weeks of training and so I have many qualifications including: First Aid & CPR, LEAD Mental Heath, DEI etc.
My Availability
My second year of university starts in Nottingham at the end of September. Until then I don’t have very many commitments and would be willing to babysit at any needed time.
