About Me
I am a student entering my first year at St Andrews. I would describe myself as approachable, well-organised and dependable. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, watching films and baking, but also enjoy the occasional walk outside in nature.
My Experience
I have a younger brother who I regularly cook for and assist with schoolwork.
I have also gained experience dealing with vulnerable children. During my sixth form education, I was chosen to become a peer mentor to a younger student to help build their confidence in social interactions, so that they could integrate into the wider school community. Alongside this, I was a confidante with whom they could voice their concerns in a safe and judgment-free setting.
Additionally, I have had experience dealing with children in an educational setting as a staff cadet at my local RAFAC squadron. I tutored younger cadets in aviation and aerospace related subjects on a bi-weekly basis. I monitored their progress through regular quizzes, providing extra guidance to cadets who were struggling with the topics.
My Qualifications
I have received first aid training, and undergone an enhanced DBS check, whilst I was a member of the RAF Air Cadets.
My Availability
I am available after 6pm on all weekdays except Tuesday, when I am available after 9pm. I have full availability on the weekends.
