Hello, my name is Ella and I am 19, studying at University in Cheltenham. I am looking to offer my services as a babysitter during my time here. I have a genuine passion for childcare and a big interest in how the minds of children work and child development and am therefore studying psychology with an emphasis on child psychology. My Experience
Being 19, naturally I do not have years worth of experience. A couple reached out to me when they were looking for someone to babysit their 8 year old son once a week in the evening whilst they attended work calls for a few months and we really built a connection and routine together and he really enjoyed having the undivided attention of someone one to one which I'm happy to have provided. The couple still occasionally contact me to do some more babysitting when they want a night away and have been recommended to other parents. I have been babysitting my cousins who are now 6, 11 and 12 for a number of years also. My experience has taught me how to tailor interactions to each child's personality and needs, fostering a sense of trust and companionship. Engaging in imaginative play, assisting with homework, or offering a supportive presence, is something I take pride in.
My Qualifications
I am trained in pediatric first aid as your child's safety is my priority.
My Availability
Due to my university course, I am looking for a regular arrangement of around 2 days a week that I can commit to. Contact me for more information on days and time of day.
