My Summary

My Experience

I have lots of experience childminding children between 5-12. Including children with medical conditions which required administrating various types of medication. Coming from a large family, I have lots of younger family members who often require looking after. Along side this, for a programme called NCS, I led a team of twelve young people (aged 15-16) on a two week skills and team building programme. Through facilitating sessions and workshops with both smaller and larger groups, I mentored and guided the young people in designing and carrying out a social action project. Also, In Brighton, I was a peer-led mentor. The role-models programme aimed to provide young people in the local community with diverse and positive peers by creating a safe space in which young people could ask questions and engage deeply with important topics - often not covered in mainstream education. These interactions with vulnerable individuals required me to have practiced ethics, safeguarding, neutrality, professionalism, and common sense. These traits are all essential within the workplace
