About Me
My name is Keira O'Connell I have just completed three A Levels at Dame Allan's School, I have been babysitting for around 3 years. I have a younger sister and have experience with looking after both young and older children from families around where I live. I love spending time with children and I am able to cook, clean and look after their every need. Taking care of kids is most fun and fulfilling job there is. Some babysitters choose to just mind; I interact, teach, and engage. I love babysitting: playing games and cuddling is a job too good to be true. Being a babysitter requires a lot of energy, a lot of patience which I believe I have mastered. I am also close to getting a full driving license as well as being able to start immediate as I am not going to the University of York for another year.
My Experience
I have been babysitting for over three years, my first family had a 9 year old boy who I looked after in the evenings and after school, as well as cooking him dinner I also helped with his homework responsibilities and looked after their dog.
My other family, I looked after two little girls; One aged 10 and the other aged 6. I also used to look after the younger girl when she was aged three upwards, my responsibilities where to play with them, cook them dinner, help with homework and make sure they went to bed clean and with a full stomach.
My more full time child care is looking after my younger sister who is aged 10, I make sure that her homework gets done, that she can have her independant time in a safe way. i Interact with children, play games, provide entertainment and outdoor activities. I can help oversee homework, offer snacks, supervise television watching, video games and internet use. And make sure that I take into consideration all life qualities and rules that parents may have.
My Qualifications
I have lots of experience and would be happy to provide references from the family's I have worked with before.
My Availability
I am available throughout the week all the time except for in the very early hours of the morning. Depending on the location of the children I may need to take into consideration bow long it may take to get to the family using public transport or walking.
