About Me
I'm a fun-loving married Mum of two grown up daughters with an excellent network of childminding friends. I live in Upminster, Essex and have been childminding for over 15 years. I specialise in Term time only contracts and can provide excellent references upon request.
My Experience
I have obtained several qualifications relevant to childcare including an NVQ level 3 and attend many courses. I also run a local play group for babies and toddlers on a Friday, which is something I have done for the past 14 years. My philosophy has always been to care for fewer children rather than maximise numbers and due to unforeseen changes in parent circumstances, I now have spaces available. As it can sometimes take younger children time to settle, my preference is to care for children a minimum of two days per week.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3, First aid, safeguarding for childminders, Level 2 food and hygiene plus multiple early years certificates - I also have an OFSTED rating of Good.
