About Me
Hi my name is Arabella Myers and I am 28 years old. I came to Liverpool to obtain my degree at Liverpool Hope University and have recently moved back (to Liverpool) from teaching in Dubai! I am a empathetic and passionate teacher that is eager to teach children to the best of my ability. As a creative person, I always try to create lessons that captures children’s intellectual curiosity. This, I believe, is achieved through excellent teaching and the use of technology as an essential tool to engage, assess and promote progression. I believe it is important to create a positive learning environment for children to strive.
My Experience
I have been teaching for 6 years and have taught in both KS1 and KS2. Throughout my teaching career I have tutored children to help support them feel more confident in school and teach some special tricks that they can take back to the classroom. I have worked with a range of SEN / EAL needs as well. I also have a full enhanced DBS check.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelors degree in Primary Teaching QTS with Christian Theology. I have since passed my NQT year and have been teaching for 6 years. I have a TESOL certificate that qualifies me to teach EAL.
