Hello! My name is Maria, I am 25 years old and live in West Bridgford. I have been here since graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2022. I studied Sport and Exercise Science at university and along side my studies was part of the volleyball and tennis teams. I have a real passion for being active and staying fit. My other interests include being in the outdoors, skiing, travelling, photography and swimming.
My Experience
I spent two summers working at an overnight summer camp in Ontario, Canada where I led activities from arts and crafts to kayaking, took campers on canoe trips through the national parks and had the responsible for the emotional and wellbeing of campers aged 5-15.
I have worked at Activate multi-activity camps as a camp coach and manager for two summers where I led activities such as football, rounders and tennis and was responsible for overseeing the camp coaches.
I worked in a special needs department of a secondary school where I supported students with a variety of different needs in mainstream lessons. During Covid I worked as a cover supervisor at secondary schools where I was responsible for ensuring students completed work set for them and supported them if needed.
