I support families in the progressive independent education sector, as well as those who unschool or homeschool. I’m a good match for families who value holistic, progressive approaches to learning, intuitive care, and attention to detail.
A central part of my work is supporting the nervous system of the whole family. I take a trauma-informed, body-aware approach that recognises how regulation, safety, and connection are foundational to wellbeing and learning. I integrate holistic health practices to meet each family where they are — gently, respectfully, and with deep trust in their wisdom.
My Experience
I have worked across private education, early years, specialist SEN settings, and family advocacy roles in both the UK and Australia. Over the past 6 years, I’ve specialised in bespoke support for children in Early Years and adolescent specialist SEN provision within the independent sector.
Before that, I worked in private preschools and served as a Child & Adolescent Advocate and Social Work Case Manager, supporting children outside of formal education.
My approach blends professional experience with deep empathy and understanding of how neurodiversity, disability, and family dynamics intersect. I work closely with families, schools, and allied professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic support.

Lis was more than we could have asked for in looking after our GS who is autistic. She is very well qualified with children that have special needs and we were very impressed with her demeanour. She is kind, calm, empathetic and very professional and takes her job very seriously indeed. We felt as though even after only a few days she is part of our family. Hopefully the next time our GS is visiting, Lis will be able to come and help us out again. I recommend her very highly,

Lis is a wonderful nanny and is great with our four-year-old daughter. She is patient, communicative, trustworthy and very thoughtful. Lis always comes prepared with engaging activities for the little one, including writing practice, drawing supplies, and even books she's brought from home! I love coming back to the house and seeing all of the projects they've been up to. I would heartily recommend Lis!
