About Me
I have recently completed an art foundation course and am currently studying English at Durham. I am very creative and this is something that I love to share with the kids I work with. I have strong communication skills and am confident and outgoing. I am organised and timely, as demonstrated through my position as an art teacher, where I had to arrive early to set up classes. I am patient and calm but can also be firm if needs be. I am also open to tutoring as I have strong grades and a particular interest in art and English but could also do early years maths.
My Experience
I have nearly 3 years of experience teaching children ages 2 to 16, specialising in art and drama. I also have experience of babysitting children as young as 9 months old, but prefer to babysit slightly older children. During the holidays, I have 2 jobs with children - one is as an art instructor at Barracudas (a children's summer camp) and the other is an art assistant at Art-K (a children's art workshop). As part of this job I have worked one on one with children with autism and ADHD, setting up activities for them and creating effective strategies to ensure comfort and confidence. I therefore have an enhanced DBS certificate and have also completed my paediatric first aid training course. I also have experience with instructing sporting activities and games such as hockey, ball sports and parachute games.

My Availability

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I have lots of experience and training to ensure that the children I look after are safe and also that they have lots of fun. I have a more hands on approach and prefer to engage the children with activities.
