About Me
I am a 26 year old, I have no children of my own but I do have a 2 year old crazy Cocker Spaniel. I love baking tasty treats and home cooking nutritious meals, I love spending time in the outdoors and keeping busy. I love learning about child development and all of the different parenting types including Gentle Parenting and Montessori parenting. I am a huge advocate for validating your tiny humans big feelings and helping them to understand and regulate these feelings.
I have experience caring from newborns to 10 years old and am happy to help out with all aspects of care, including maintaining the home, walking and caring for any pets as well as doing any tasks that may make the parents lives just that little bit easier.
My Experience
I am currently a qualified social worker and work within children’s social work. I am hoping for a career change into nannying and would give up my social work job for the right family. I have a good working knowledge of child development, parenting techniques and supporting children to reach their full potential. I have two nieces and five nephews all under 10 and I have gained lots of practical experiencing caring for them.
I have a full, clean driving license and my own car. I am DBS registered also.
My Qualifications
I have a BA (hons) in Social Work, qualified for 4 years.
My Availability
I currently work Monday through Friday 8.45-5.30 and therefore would not be available during these times. I have full availability on weekends and for the right family I would be happy to exchange my career in social work for nannying full time.
I am also available for babysitting on weekends and evenings.
