I have been in the childcare industry for 11 years. I have a BA honours degree in Primary Education, a level 4 in Maternity Nursing and a level 4 Sleep Consultancy.
My Experience
I studied childcare in sixth form and earned my CACHE Level 3 certification. I gained practical experience in both a school and a nursery part-time. After school, I worked with children who have special needs in a primary school and started an after-school nannying job, which eventually led to my first full-time nanny role.
During this time, I also became a certified maternity nurse and sleep consultant, freelancing in my spare time.
Later, I became a parent myself and when my first child turned one, I pursued a degree to become a primary school teacher, training in three different schools.
After the arrival of my second child, I chose to focus on raising her at home.
