About Me
Hi I’m Dami, a wife and a mum to a gorgeous girl and boy. I’m a fully qualified childminder living in Sheffield. For as long as I can remember I have worked with babies and young children in some capacity whether that’s the one off babysitting or working in a mental health setting with young children.
I have worked both part time and full time as a nanny/ babysitter Monday - Friday.
I am available all times of the day with enough notice.
I am fun, loving, patient and very trustworthy. I take pride in my work and love what I do.
I have an extensive list of trainings some being Safeguarding, food hygiene and I am also DBS checked.
About my setting.
Like I said I have a daughter and she’s 2 years old which means lots of energy. We get out of the house practically everyday doing activities and exploring the city. Our favourite places to visit are Heeley Farm, Graves Park & Wentworth garden centre. At my setting you should expect your children to be out exploring the city, seeing new things, learning new things and having a great time. If we’re not out the house then we’re creating things inside, we’re playing in the garden or we’re cooking up something delicious in the kitchen.
I believe in learning through play so every day there’s a new activity that I have diligently set up to promote speech and communication, literacy, numeracy and social skills.
I charge £7 an hour and this includes meals and snacks and small outings example farm admission
I accept payments via student finance, universal credit, childcare vouchers and many more.
I am also a FEL provider and accept funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds
My Experience
I have experience looking my own children. I have over 5 years of experience working with babies and young children having babysat children from 12 months - 11 years old, whether that be for a few hours a day or overnight for a few days whilst parents attended conferences. I have extensive experience with children from being the leader of the baby ministry and children’s church alongside my husband. I am currently in the process of becoming a fully trained and qualified ofsted registered childminder. Every year I attend a children’s conference that allows me to develop as a childcare provider building new skills and being able to relate to children for effectively. I have experience in feeding and changing and would be willing to train in other specific areas that are required. I am fully dedicated to all children from all backgrounds and I completely pride myself in this. I pride myself in the fact that I practice safe and secure child centred environment for children to grow in. I take time to teach & help develop new skills in children by learning through play. I pride myself in the fact that I put everything I have in to looking after other peoples children and that children adore my company. I’m a proud mother myself and I completely understand how valuable our children are that is why every child that I look after I treat like my own. I am incredibly reliable, you will never ever be let down and I have great organisational and time management. I am very professional with an extensive list of policies and procedures to put parents at ease.

My Availability
My standard hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm but I am also available from as early as 6:30 until 7pm.
I am also available on Saturday 7am until 7pm.
I am also available for overnight care
I offer flexible contracts for shift workers (1 week advance notice of shifts)
I offer holiday only care, full year care and term time only care.
I do not currently offer pick ups and drop offs. I will begin offering drop offs and pick ups from January 2025.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
For a place in my childminding setting I charge £7 per child per hour. This includes all meals and small outings.
I accept payments via student finance, universal credit, childcare vouchers and many more.
Overnight Care - £11 per hour
My Local Schools
