About Me
Hi, I’m Dami – the heart behind a home-from-home setting where children grow, play, and thrive!
I’m a fully qualified, Ofsted-registered childminder with over 7 years of experience caring for children — including my own two little ones, who inspire so much of what I do. I’m also a proud wife and mum, and I know first-hand how important it is to find childcare you can truly trust.
At our setting, we blend the warmth and personal touch of a home nursery with the structure and professionalism of a larger provision. I work alongside three incredible assistants, which allows us to offer the same rich learning experiences as a nursery — but with smaller, more intimate child-to-adult ratios, ensuring your little one gets the attention they deserve.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of supporting families from all walks of life — whether through nannying, babysitting, or overnight care — and I’ve poured that experience into building a setting that is safe, nurturing, and packed with meaningful learning.
Why did I start this journey? Three simple reasons:
To be more present for my children while still doing what I love.
To offer high-quality childcare that’s affordable and accessible to everyday families.
Because children bring so much laughter, wonder, and joy — it’s truly a gift to be part of their journey.
I trained with a top-tier Ofsted-registered agency known for its outstanding standards, and I fully believe in their mission: to give every child the best possible start in life. That’s why each day at our setting is filled with purposeful play and activities planned around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), tailored to support each child’s unique development.
We’ve transformed our space into a warm, vibrant, and fun learning environment — one I’d be honoured to share with your child. From messy play and sensory fun to storytime and outdoor adventures, there’s always something exciting happening here.
Beyond my setting, I also volunteer in my church’s children’s department, where I help lead the baby team and create engaging Sunday school lessons — because my passion for supporting little ones runs deep in every area of my life.
I’m constantly learning and growing through professional training and CPD so I can continue to offer the very best to the families I work with.
I’m also a registered FEL provider, and I proudly offer funded places for children aged 9 months to 2 years.

My Experience
With over 7 years of hands-on experience caring for children — both professionally and as a mum of two young children myself — I truly understand the needs of little ones and the peace of mind parents are looking for.
Alongside running my childcare setting, I’ve spent the past few years volunteering in my church’s baby and young children’s department. There, I’ve had the joy of developing engaging Sunday school curriculums and leading the baby team — something that’s deepened my passion for nurturing children’s hearts as well as their minds.
My experience extends beyond typical daytime care. I’ve frequently provided overnight care for babies and toddlers, and have cared for children over extended periods when families needed trusted support while away. These opportunities have given me unique insight into supporting children during transitions, routines, and emotional needs around the clock.

Dami has been nothing but a GIFT when it comes to helping me arrange childcare for my 5 month old. I am utterly clueless with this being my first child & not only has she been incredibly understanding but she has taken a weight off my shoulders when it comes to returning to work with a breastfed baby. Looking forward to starting our settling in sessions with her soon!

I have truly appreciated Dami’s service and the incredible progress my daughter has made under her care. Since she started working with my daughter, there has been a significant improvement in her social and communication skills. Dami consistently collaborated with us, ensuring that my daughter's needs were met with care and dedication. Her support has been invaluable to our family.

Dami is an actual angel, literally !
Since I’ve started work again and my son is with her 3 days a week he has the best times ever! Always doing activities and having fun whilst being well cared for makes me feel so at ease whilst away from my child
I highly recommend! Such a lovely home and she is such a genuine person that cares for all children whilst juggling looking after her own! Like I said an actual angel . Thankyou dami lots of love for u girl🥰💕

Damilola is just the right person for my son. I was quite anxious for my 6 months old boy and Damilola has the calm reassuring nature which made me quite comfortable. My child enjoy being with her and I would highly recommend her.

I recently had the pleasure of having Dami care for my child, and I was pleased with how everything went. Given that it was on short notice she was quick to respond, willing to assist and accommodate my situation. She has a kind and attentive demeanor when we met. When I asked my child about his care, he said he had a good time, so I was happy. I highly recommend Dami to anyone needing a reliable and caring carer.
