Hi! My name is Millie and I am 23 years old, I am a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist and graduated with an MSCi in 2022. I am currently working full time as a SLT in the NHS for children aged between 0-5. I have experience working with children with a range of additional needs and a wide age range of 0-16. I am first aid trained, DBS checked and love working with children. I have dogs, cats and horses and am happy being around all types of animals.
My Experience
I have nannying experience with children aged 2 weeks to 15 years old, I work with children with additional needs including non verbal, ASD, Down syndrome, speech and language delays. I am a regular babysitter, and typically get up to: playing, cooking meals, bath time, bed time etc. I don’t sit them in front of the TV we will play and be in bed at an appropriate time, I also don’t fall for the “mummy let’s me have cookies in bed trick?”. I also have experience with children with separation anxiety and difficulty being away from parents.
