About Me
Hi, I am Fay and I am 20 years old. I am a third year student at the University of Glasgow, studying Geography and living in the West End. I have always enjoyed spending time with children and have considered future careers working with them. I have a bubbly, positive and friendly personality, and I would love to look after your child and create a fun and safe environment for them.
My Experience
During my time in sixth form, I gained work experience in two primary schools. One of which, I spent every Monday afternoon in a classroom with children aged 4-6, leading activities with small groups set by the classroom teacher, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Also in sixth form, I was head girl, which entailed leading different activities around school, having good communication skills and being a role model for pupils in younger years. Furthermore, in my summer job as a lifeguard, I assist the swimming teachers with the children in their lessons. In addition, I have babysitting experience of children of family friends.
My Qualifications
I have 3 A- Level qualifications (A*, A, B) and 10 GCSE qualifications, all between A* and B. Through my lifeguarding, I have qualifications in Pool Lifeguarding, Intervention, Supervision and Rescue, as well as in Automated External Defibrillator. I, also, attend monthly staff training to keep my first aid training up to date. I am currently working towards a MA degree in Geography.
