About Me
I am a student at the University of Bath, studying Education with Psychology. I love working with children and would love to go on to become a teacher or a child psychotherapist. I grew up in the countryside in Devon with 5 siblings, so I have always been surrounded by a big family. I have 9 nieces and nephews that I often look after. I love going on walks and just being outside, I also enjoy playing board games or doing some arts and crafts.
My Experience
For the last 2 summers I worked on a summer camp in the US where I was a lifeguard. I taught swim lessons and boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, I also led several other activities. It was a sleep-away camp so I spent spent mornings and evenings with the children, waking them up and putting them to bed, as well as sitting with them at meal times. Over the 7 weeks, I worked with children and teenagers between the ages of 7 and 16.
My Qualifications
I'm working to get my bachelors in Education with Psychology at the University of Bath. I have Psychology and Sociology A-Level and a Health and Social care Btec. I have a certificate in the American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR training.
My Availability
I am a student so I have several lectures each week, however, for this semester I only have 10 contact hours so I can be quite flexible.
