My Experience
I am currently a student studying Medical Imaging at Exeter University and hold an Enhanced DBS. I am looking for local jobs that I am able to walk to/ is a short bus ride away if I would be babysitting late into the night. This is as I do not have a car with me.
I have been looking after children from the village I come from for 2 years now and my sister for much longer. I would often look after them late into the night (midnight/1am). My role would be ensuring they had eaten dinner (this was prepared by the parents but I would be happy to cook for them), done their homework (often helping in tutoring if they didn't understand something where I could), practiced instruments, and were in bed by their bedtimes.
Sometimes, the siblings would get a little antsy with each other so I became quite well-versed in methods that could diffuse the situation, even if it meant distracting both until the air cooled down.
My Qualifications
I have completed 10 GCSEs (9-4), and completed my IBDP. I am currently working towards my Bsc Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography)
