About Me
I am a 20 year old Psychology student from near Manchester, studying in Nottingham. I am a warm and engaging person who thoroughly enjoys working and caring for people of all ages, and am noted as very kind amongst friends and people who know me. I am fun loving, and I enjoy participating in activities and games with children such as reading and playing, as I think it’s important and endearing to help creativity and understanding flourish. On the other hand, I would say I am very organised, and follow instructions well to make sure things are how they should be to maintain everyone is happy and safe. I love animals and nature, and am part of my university’s Rambling and Hiking society.
My Experience
I have 4 years experience in babysitting in my home town, as well as volunteer experience working with children. I helped out at local children’s activity groups (for example Rainbows and Brownies), and even took on the responsibility of assisting and accompanying children there with learning or behavioural difficulties (such as anger management). I helped the children remain calm, and aided in their understanding, whilst remaining empathetic to their needs and wants. I took on this role successfully, and it became a part of my duties whilst I volunteered.
I also have tutored children age 3-16 in the subject of English and can aid in reading and writing abilities. I received Grade 8-9 (A*-A**) at GCSE and Grade A at A-Level. I have a wide knowledge and passion of texts and books, as well as capabilities in writing and comprehension. I could be of assistance at young child levels (such as just as a reading buddy), to aiding teenagers at GCSE level.

My Availability
My availability varies in the week. I am free from 1pm onwards most days, and Friday up until 4pm (free again at 6pm) but this could be discussed. I am free all day on the weekends.
