I am a 18year old female who has a level two certificate in hsc and one year of level 3 certification I’m currently doing my last year. I have experience with children of all ages as I have a huge family and spent a day working with children in a nursery.
My Experience
I have two baby cousins. WHO I raised and spent most of my time looking after. As I grew up I moved in with my grandma where my uncle Also lives him and his wife were busy working with a baby on the way I was still I child at this time but I was careful and spent all my free time with their baby boy. Making sure he ate , had his naps , changing his nappy and ensuring he was having fun doing activities he enjoyed. As me and him grew up they had another baby boy I had experience with many family members children and was keen on my aunty and uncle doing what they needed to Whikst I babysitted the children. I got used to changing nappies, ensuring they had enough sleep and ate. But the best part was doing the activities they enjoyed and making sure they were happy. Seeing the milestones they achieved and the skills they developed made me smile. Fast forward to last year my mom had a baby boy too. Since then I have spent time watching him grow an develop new skills. Whilst being able to change his nappies and know when he needs a change. Making sure he can run around and enjoy himself safely.
