About Me

Hiya! I'm Hannah a mum of 1 daring (nearly) 3 year old and a step mum to an 11 year old.

Children are our future, so I find that this is one of the most rewarding industries to work in (if not THE most!)

I would love to include my daughter in any journies that I may embark on with families. If this is not possible then I understand and we can hopefully make suitable arrangements for us both!

We love nature, singing, massive arts & crafts fans and I am also planning to home school her when she is of school age, although we do manage to fit in a little at the minute.

I use gentle parenting myself (which is what I'd think the most of us would expect from someone who is in the childcare sector!)

My Experience

I left school and went straight into a childcare apprenticeship, I gained experience doing voluntary work at a nursery in Wouldham, which was so rewarding! I then managed to secure a position in an afterschool and breakfast club local to me at the time. The breakfast and afterschool club then grew, and I managed one for a short time at a school nearby to the first.
I have also worked for sure start providing childcare whilst parents were participating in adult education.

All of the above enabled me to plan activities that were age appropriate.

NVQ level 2 childcare & learning development
NVQ level 3 Playwork

My Availability

I am looking preferably for short hours, I am childless on Wednesday and Friday mornings and available from around 8.30-12.30 depending on your location.
If you are flexible with my daughter accompanying me then I can also be more flexible, but I understand that it may not be wanted due to the attention she way need due to her age, she is so loving and compassionate already though and we have had so many compliments on her behaviour and how polite she is.
