About Me
My name is Sarah, I live with my husband Duane and our two children, Scarlett & Louie. I returned to childminding in January and set up Sarah’s Home Childcare. I am currently registered with a childminding agency and in the process of transferring to Ofsted. I am registered with Lincolnshire Local Authority to deliver Early Years Funding.
We have 2 small dogs, named Lola & Belle and we have 7 Guinea pigs who live in a summerhouse in the garden, there names are Drax, Dustin, Darwin, Skittle, Coco, Ginger and Cookie.
We have a good sized garden and a skate park at the back of our house, which is a great outdoor space. It has a wooden pirate ship, a zip line, swing.
My Experience
Currently registered with childminding agency - who are Ofsted Registered.
I have worked as an Ofsted Registered Childminder providing childcare to military families, 2011 to 2014.
Completed my level 3 Diploma in children's and young people's workforce.
Various NHS clinical and non-clinical roles, including CAMHS Crisis.
I have completed my NVQ level 2 & 3 in Care.
Since 2020, I have worked with Teens aged 13 to 19, providing sex education, safeguarding, healthy relationships, online safety. Working in partnership with social care and education to safeguard young people and prevent teenage pregnancy and infections.
While working within mental health, I completed Mental Health First Aid training and awareness courses on topics such as self harm and personality disorder.

My Availability
Waiting list available for places I will have once a suitable assistant has been hired. Hoping to have an apprentice starting September 2025.
1 x Full Time or Part time for under 5yrs, if starting after 6th May I can accept child under 12mths.
1 x under 12mths space provisionally held for July 2024 (subject to contract being signed).
Only 1 x under 12mths old child allowed until I hire a suitable assistant (subject to vetting/security checks & training).
Temporary part time space Monday/Tuesday/Friday until September 2025, from September 2025 this will be reduced to Friday only place - subject to their contract being signed May 2024.
Wrap around care for Waddington All Saints:
- over 5yrs WAC and Holiday Club
- September starters under 5yrs WAC only

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6 per hour outside of funded hours - Meals/Snacks to be discussed with parents on an individual basis.
Price includes all outings: Local playgroups/children's centres, Farm, Nature Reserve, National Trust, Seaside, Play Centres, music or other outside activities such as Caterpillar Music Newark in Navenby.
Before School & After School: Includes breakfast (choice of cereals, toast & fruit) and After School Snack/Light Meal.
Currently I cater for Waddington All Saints but I maybe able to offer Waddington Redwood on adhoc basis from September 2024 - when I have availability.
Seniors Before & After School without transport option - my setting is on the bus route for RP, NK and SWRA.
Juniors & Seniors Holiday Club: Price dependent on activities/outings - Plan is to include my baby can dance, Whisby Nature Park, National Trust venues, Jump Inc, Arcade Warehouse, Theme parks, Farms, Seaside to name a few.
Babies to Preschool:
Full Day option - Minimum 7.5hrs per day to reserve the full day for your child (or 8hrs per day if using stretched funding when childcare increases to 30hrs term time/24hrs stretched in September 2025).
School Day 9.15am to 2.45pm (can be extended and pick up/drop off on Waddington All Saints School run.
Emergency, Out of hours (weekends/evenings) - Price on request, subject to family commitments and I am not currently registered for overnight care (need a spare bedroom before this can be offered).
