About Me
I’m Emily. I am a live out nanny / babysitter but I also have a degree in Musical Theatre, meaning I am not afraid to look silly with your children! I’m really good with animals and love spending time outdoors. I’m very organised and want to help make people’s lives a little bit easier.
My Experience
I have spent the last 6 years working at a day nursery / preschool (ages 6 months-4 years). Despite spending time with each age group at this setting, I was based in the baby room (6 months - 18/19 months) and loved it. Some of my job included: preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, following sleep routines, nappy changing, bottle feeds, going out for walks, setting up activities and of course creating the best bonds with both them and the parents.
I volunteered at a children’s theatre company helping direct musicals with children aged 4-8 years, making sure the children were prepared (costumes etc) and kept them entertained with fun games.
I have also done lots of babysitting (day & night) for families locally.
My Qualifications
- NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Year Workforce: Early Years Educator.
- NCFE CACHE level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Children and Young People’s Settings.
- Advanced Level Apprenticeship in the Children and Young People’s Workforce: Early Years Educator.
- 30 Hour Teaching Young Learners TEFL Course
