About Me
Hello, I’m Bella and I am a Kiwi currently living in a Newtonmore. I am passionate about the outdoors and adventuring as well as burying my nose into a good book. I am fairly travelled and love new things and a good challenge. I come from a big family back in NZ with many younger cousins I grew up looking after. Im artsy fartsy kind of person so enjoy a good crafts day. Im very fond of cooking but baking even more so. My first nannying job was in 2014 and have continued on and off since leaving my home country in June '23. I have spent time working with hyperactive children as well as volunteering for respite care back in NZ. I like to get involved and partake in activities the kids are doing weather it be Hide and Seek or playing at the park. Im excited to be working on the other side of the world doing something I love.
My Experience
I have babysat in New Zealand on and off since 2014 with jobs ranging from nappy changes to helping with school homework and meal prepping for the family. I Volunteered 1 year in Canada as an outdoor instructor/ counselor with ages varying from 5-15. I mainly worked with hyper active boy groups which has taught me lots of patience and how to solve many conflicts. Id take them kayaking, teach them how to stern a canoe, rock climbing, bush walks and we did lots of foraging in nature.
My Qualifications
No UK qualifications. In NZ I completed 3 first aid courses; Comprehensive first aid Plus, Standard first aid and Standard CPR/c. I also hold my bronze medallion so am confident around water. New Zealand NCEA level 3 English and math
