About Me
Hi! I'm Esme, I am currently studying medicine at the University of Manchester in my 1st year, I am originally from Bristol and I consider myself to be fun, passionate and engaging. I also work as part of the nursing team in a GP when I am back at home in the summers and over Christmas.
My Experience
I have over 6 years of experience in babysitting and childcare for a variety of different families. I also have experience working with both children and adults with special needs, every year for 2 weeks over the summer I volunteer for a charity called Forest School Camps. During these 2 weeks, we run a wilderness camp to provide respite care, with the aim of allowing children and young people with special needs to get out of the city and in touch with nature. We cover all aspects of care during this time and I have learnt so much during my time with the charity and have gained a real passion for working with people with special needs. Furthermore, I have experience babysitting for individuals with additional needs on a 1-1 basis. What I lack in actual tutoring experience, I make up for with a passion for science and a strong understanding of what is required to pass and achieve high grades in GCSEs and A-Levels. Furthermore, I have worked in many roles such as a care assistant in a care home, a GP receptionist and HCA and also assistant manager of a restaurant. Therefore I am easily adaptable and have many transferrable skills.
My Qualifications
3A*s at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and History, 10 GCSEs all in grades 8-9. I am currently studying medicine at the University of Manchester
