About Me
My aim is to provide a true home from home setting.
I want your child to genuinely feel like they are a part of my family meaning that you can leave them in my setting, confident that they are settled and comfortable and therefore able to learn and develop to the best of their ability.
My home is situated close to several local amenities giving your child a rich variety of experiences from toddler groups and libraries to open woodlands and extensive play spaces.
My Experience
I have a very caring nature and with 9 years of full time parenting experience, I feel confident that I can help your child settle quickly into my setting allowing them to thrive and you to relax knowing they're happy and in safe hands.
I am a big believer in learning through play and follow the EYFS curriculum to guide a wide variety of activities and visits that engage and inspire.
As a life long singer, I love music and find this opens up endless learning opportunities through song.
My Qualifications
I have a wealth of childcare experience with my own 4 children, 3 nieces and a nephew, as well as daily contact with a huge number of children whilst out and about at various children's groups and venues.
The childminder training I have recently undertaken with my Ofsted regulated agency has provided me with an in-depth education of the early years learning requirements, as well as a secure understanding of how to provide a safe and enabling environment for my minded children.
With ongoing CPD training from my registering agency, I have the opportunity to keep bettering my knowledge as an early years educator so I may provide the children in my setting with the best start possible.
