I love nurturing and being around children, and am often described as gentle and calm and loving (I can't wait to have kids of my own). The combination of living abroad independently and being a yoga teacher has helped me become more responsible and attentive to details which are necessary when taking care of children.
My Experience
I was an au pair in Spain - a new family, country and language all allowed me to grow massively and test my childcare skills seeing as I lived with them. Those kids are and always be family to me now and that is the level of warmth I try to apply to every child I look after. I have been babysitting for nearly 10 years with children from many different countries.
