About Me
Hi! My names Laurie, i’m 18 years old & am located in the Pickering area. I absolutely adore working with children, eventually i plan to study medicine & specialise in paediatric medicine, however currently it’s not financially realistic for me to do so at the moment. I’m perfectly happy to talk with families & create an agreement to suit the needs of both you & myself. I’m willing to be flexible, if i can, to suit your needs.
My Experience
I was a young carer aged 7-18, so i have lots of experience in general household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, running errands as well as looking after a vulnerable person, with mental and physical difficulties, and helping them take their medication.
Alongside this i have 2 sisters (aged 12 & 4) who always keep me on my toes! I often look after them for my mother, they will come to stay for a few days/a week & so i have a good amount of experience taking care of both of these ages. I’ve minded the 4 year old since she was a baby, and the 12 year old since she was around 8.
My Qualifications
I hold 11 GCSE’s grades 5-9 (C-A*)
I also hold a current DBS check due to my recent employment as a dental nurse.
