About Me
We are a family of 4 plus a dog. Dad works full time at a Property Development company whilst mum looks after kids and the house hold. This worked fine until our son developed a rare and severe form of epilepsy meaning he needs a huge amount of care and focus which is 24/7. We've got some challenges at the moment but we're a happy family and the kids are good fun. Our son's condition means that our days are often busy looking after him, trips to hospital or recovering from sleepless nights and routines are difficult to keep at the moment.
My Requirements
So we're looking for mornings or evenings or a combination - somewhere between 15-20hrs per week. Timings would be 6/7am-10am ish and 4pm-7pmish - these are flexible and open to some days being mornings and others evenings. We're generally up early like 6am onwards and the maddness starts shortly afterwards so would want help for breakfast and before daughter goes to school and possibly watching son whilst daughter goes to school. We have a golden retriever puppy (5 months old) to add to the fun. We're looking for someone who can support us with a mixture of minding the kids, cooking, cleaning, laundry and general tidying (basically help in keeping the house in order).
My son has a rare epileptic condition which means he has a lot of seizures so we need to keep a close eye on him, he is autistic in varying degrees and can have some attention issues, he can also be relatively active and want to run/climb/bike so we're always on our toes. We look after him and don't need specialist care for him but the challenge we have is the extra time he needs and the associated hospital trips, doctors appointments etc make it hard to keep on top of everything else. He's 5 but not currently in school due to his condition so my wife cares for him/looks after him full time. Our daughter is 2.5 and at nursery 4 mornings per week and also regular goes to grandparents (she's relatively easy to look after).
We are looking for an extra pair of friendly eyes and hands in our house.
