About Me
My name is Caitlin and I am 24 years old from Essex. I am a bubbly, hard working and an enthusiastic individual with a great passion for supporting children and contributing to their growth. I find immense joy and know how much of a privilege it is to be trusted to look after someone’s world (child/children) and would take every precaution to keep them safe and provide sessions tailored to each individual’s needs. Due to working full time, I unfortunately cannot take on the role of a Nanny. However, I am free in the evenings and at weekends to babysit.
My Experience
I have a wealth of knowledge with children and young adults, including those with special needs and/or disabilities. I currently work at a local special needs charity where I work collaboratively with families and their children. Previously I have been an English language teacher overseas as well as a TA in a primary school. Furthermore, I have a BA in Early Years and Special and Inclusive Education.
My Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in Early Years and Special and Inclusive Education, achieving a 2:1. I have undertook many courses in my career specialising in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including being paediatric first aid trained (Jan 2024), and further skills in the following areas; Autism, ADHD, Autism in Girls, Dyslexia, OCD, Sensory Issues in Education, PDA and many more.
