My Requirements

Respite care wanted, once (possibly twice) a month for a 5 year old litte boy with autism and learning disabilities. His name is harley, he is non verbal, he isn't potty trained, he will need one 2 one at all times, harley takes melatonin at bed time but needs someone to sit with him while he drops off, this makes him feel safe. Harley can be challenging, but with autism this is to be expected, hes a lovely little boy who enjoys films, snacks and cuddles, hes not keen on adventures but playing in the garden hes always keen to do, harley will need a babygate on his room as he has no awareness of danger and will go wondering if he wakes up (this is just to keep him safe) this is something as parents we havent decided to do lightly but we feel we need to do to help us grow better for him and his needs, we need someone who is kind, patient and understanding. SEN trained is a must because of how complex he can be, harley gets funding for respite care and this will go to the person we think is absolutely 100% for him. Harley is so active so he needs a buddy to keep up with him, hes fine with other children he tends to keep himself to himself, animals don't bother him either. We will take every applicant seriously to make sure they are perfect for harley. Thanks for reading!
