My Requirements

We are looking for approx. 2 full days a week of childcare (maybe longer, subject to further discussion).

It is important to us to find the right fit for our children and our parenting style. Ideally you would link in seamlessly to our family life and we would be very inclusive of anyone who can fill that role.

As we are home educators, we don't have a very fixed schedule so we are open to discussing exactly when we would need help with childcare - we are flexible and can, to a certain extent, fit around you.

We would welcome anyone in particular who has an alternative approach to education; we are not so interested in individuals who have a very traditional approach to childcare and education. (Note: we are not looking for "tutors"; we adopt an "unschooling" approach to home education. If you are able to provide guidance in areas where our children show an interest (eg art, maths, reading, writing, languages, etc), that is a bonus but not a necessity and we certainly don't push this on our children in any way.)

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, genders etc. However, as the father in our family is the primary care giver currently, we will tend towards a more feminine energy (in all its guises) in our caregiver in order to balance this out. The mother in this family currently works a very full time role, however is also still breastfeeding our youngest and co-sleeping etc.
