My Experience

In my prior experience , I provided caretaking services to a young boy aged between four to five for a duration spanning from August 2022 to July 2023. This role encompassed a range of responsibilities, commencing with getting him from school and accompanying him on the journey home. Evening routines typically involved culinary preparations, either cooking from scratch or reheating meals left by his parents, followed by an allotted duration of television viewing—capped at 50 minutes per parental guidelines. Afterwards, I actively engaged him in educational activities, such as assisting with reading assignments, collaborative drawing sessions, games, and puzzle completion. On occasions, I facilitated his bathing routine and then put him to bed.

The experience brought me immense pleasure, fostering a deep connection with him and I enjoyed our interactions. Unfortunately, my move to Scotland for University put an end to this experience, a prospect I would have gladly pursued further had circumstances allowed.

My Qualifications

Although I don’t hold a formal degree in child minding, I have gained extensive hands on experience during my year as a babysitting and the occasional babysitting I did when I was at secondary school.

My Availability

I am available most afternoons and every evening during the weekend. I am also available during the weekends.
