About Me
I am a fully qualified and very experienced maths teacher with a master’s degree and qualified teacher status. I also have an enhanced DBS check.
I offer tuition to students of a wide range of ages and all abilities for a range of courses & exams, including KS2, KS3, 11+, 13+, GCSE, entrance exams and numeracy tests.
All lessons are tailored to the needs of the student. I set (optional) homework at the end of the lesson so that students can consolidate on the learning that has taken place during the lesson. The following lesson I check the homework has been completed successfully and go over any questions that the student found difficult. Near exam time, the lessons are focussed on exam techniques and practice papers.
My Experience
I have 34 years experience teaching mathematics in a UK secondary school, followed by 6 years experience as a private tutor.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc Honours degree in Physics, a post graduate certificate in education and a Masters degree in Education Studies.
My Availability
Weekdays after school.
