My name is Lena and I'm a 26-year-old bilingual English/German national living in Folkestone. I am currently between roles within my career in Human Rights and am looking to pick up some extra hours doing something I love! In my day-to-day life, I love the outdoors and am generally very active. I love to read, go to Pilates, cook, spend time with my dog, and appreciate the 'small things' in life.
My Experience
For two summers, I worked as a Camp Counsellor at summer camps in the USA - and have thus worked with, and cared for, children of all ages. I'm also extremely close to my goddaughter, who is now 2 and a half, and have looked after her independently since she was just weeks old. Between the ages of 15 and 18 I regularly babysat my neighbours two children who were then of primary young school age. I have grown up with dogs (medium and large) so am extremely comfortable around pets. I am a responsible, trustworthy and hard-working individual who you can feel safe and comfortable leaving your children with. I'm also a non-smoker, and hold a full driver’s licence.
