I’m a caring, kind and patient person. I’m a quick thinker and believe I do well entertaining children and diverting their mind to something else if they are upset. I’m a big kid at heart so I’m always up for playing games and being silly. I like to multitask and to keep things tidy as I go. But I will always make sure your child has my full attention. I can put children down for naps, and tend to regular feeds. I’m able to cook and make snacks. I also enjoy the outdoors so if you’re okay with it, I’m happy to walk to the nearby park or trail. I am currently taking my driving lessons, so unfortunately I just rely on public transport or walking for now.
My Experience
I have experience working at Oakwood Primary and Secondary school as an ‘Apprentice Teaching Assistant.’ I also have experience working at Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery as a ‘Nursery Assistant.’ I’m also a proud Auntie to 11 Nieces and Nephews, so I often babysit for them, and have been doing so from Newborns through to teens.
My Qualifications
Although I lack actual qualifications, I do have a lot of experience working with children. At Oakwood I was working in the Primary School with SEN children. At Cheeky Monkeys, I was caring for mainly babies ages 6 Months +.
My Availability
I am available from 9AM-9PM Monday- Friday. Although I can start earlier if needed. I also don’t mind working the odd weekend, although can’t guarantee regular availability for this. If you need a date night I’m also happy to stay later upon request.
