About Me

I am a Qualified Primary Teacher from Blackburn with over 20 years of experience working with pupils from 4-11 years. I have experience and expertise teaching whole classes, small groups and on one to one level. I plan lessons and activities which promote and inspire my learners to achieve and excel in their learning. I am a results driven teacher and I have high expectations of my students to succeed and excel in English and Maths.

My Experience

I have worked as a catch up tutor in many schools filling gaps in learning. I have supported students in phonics, reading comprehension, writing and maths in line with the school curriculum.
I have worked in close partnership with teachers to plan my sessions to meet the individual learning needs of all students. I have been given positive feedback from Headteachers, class teachers and parents on my productive enthusiasm, commitment in helping students attain high grades in English and Maths.
