We are a couple with a 3 year old boy who are due to give birth to baby no.2 in March (due date 23/3/24). Living in Haywards Heath.
My Requirements
We are a couple with a 3 year old boy who are due to give birth to baby no.2 in March (due date 23/3/24). We have no family immediately nearby (they are in Scotland and a long train journey away) and are trying to figure out who could look after our 3 year old when I go into labour! We will probably have granny coming down to stay from 39 weeks in preparation, but if I go into labour before then, we would love to have a childminder that we have a relationship with to call on. For example, someone that has minded our son a couple of times in the lead up at our house so leaving him for the labour is not a scary experience for him. This of course could be at any time of the day or night - and that's the tricky part! I don't imagine many childminders have that kind of last minute availability.
