Hi there, my name is Lily and I’m a very warm, bubbly, creative and smiley person. I’m from Australia and have been living in Ireland for the last 8 months and am moving to Edinburgh at the start of June.
I am studying a bachelor in nursing and only have one year left! I also have worked in aged care in Australia for a couple of years. I have a very caring, empathic and fun nature.
My values are based around trust, honestly and respect and I would love to work with a family who has similar values.
My hobbies include running, swimming, general sports, surfing, painting, drawing, reading and baking.
My Experience
I'm currently living in Ireland and have been Au Pairing for a family for the past 8 months. I have been a full time carer for 3 young girls (twins the age of 2 and a four year old). Through this I have gained extensive experience and skills to care for young children and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Previous to this, I have four nieces and nephews all under the age of 3 years old. For the past two years, I have baby sat them weekly.
Through my nursing experience I have cared for and treated children who have been unwell and also children with a range of disabilities.
My Qualifications
I've studied a bachelor of nursing for 2 years, from this I have my first aid and CPR qualifications in adults and children. I am have my working with children's check from Australia. I would be more than happy to obtain any check or qualifications that are required.
My Availability
My availability is very open and I'm available to work all hours during the week, I am happy to help out on some weekends when needed and I'm very flexible to be able to accommodate your commitments.
