About Me
Hi! My name is Kirsten and I’m a first year Sheffield Medicine student. I am quite flexible with timings at the moment. I enjoy working with kids and I am hoping to work in paediatrics in the future. Please let me know if you have any questions!
My Experience
I have experience working with younger years at school including coaching them in netball and also tutoring them in maths, English and science. I completed 4 years of teaching Tiny tigers (under 5 years olds) and children/teenagers martial arts teaching a range of abilities from white to black belt. I assisted with a computer science and science courses through Sharp Spark where I helped the children with the activities. This was lots of fun and I now know a lot of at home fun (safe) science experiments for kids!
My Qualifications
I’m currently studying medicine at the University of Sheffield so have basic first aid training and have completed the basic life support module. I have 3 A levels in maths, chemistry and biology all at an A grade and I also have 10 GCSEs.
My Availability
I’m available for the majority of weekends as week as well as all evenings bar Monday and Tuesday. I am able to do overnights on Friday and Saturday. I am also quite flexible so will try and make timings work if need be :)
