My Requirements

We are looking for a part time nanny, predominantly to help with our 8 month old son while I am working. We can be flexible by how this is split but ideally we would like someone 10am-4pm Tuesday to Thursday, possibly with Monday afternoon as well. I will usually be at home while you are here, but I will need to be focusing on work so will be shut away in my office. It's important that you are comfortable with this kind of arrangement - I know it's not for everyone! I would also like some light housekeeping duties taking care of, ideally, you will become a proxy 'me' on the days that you are with us. This will include things like loading the washing machine, folding clothes, cleaning round the kitchen after meal times, vacuuming and making sure toys etc. are tidied away. You will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle, as we are pretty remote and not on a public transport route.
It would also be useful if you are available for occasional babysitting as we do not have family close by. This may involve an overnight stay (obviously, we will pay extra for this) so it is important to us that you are happy to do this as we would like to find one person who we can get to know well, without having to introduce multiple different people into our household.
