About Me
Hi there, my name is Casey, and I am currently finishing off my final year studying an MA in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh. I am looking to begin tutoring English as well as babysitting in Dundee. In September 2025 I start my postgraduate degree in teaching English Lit. in high schools, meaning the aforementioned roles would be a great opportunity for me to gain valuable experience working with and caring for children. This opportunity would further be beneficial for parents whom are looking for a tutor in English that has somewhat recently completed the exams your child is preparing for, as well as someone who has gained further knowledge and base in the study of English. Concerning babysitting, I am a highly adaptable to various household environments and schedules. Moreover, I strive to create a caring and creative environment, where your child can expand upon their learning in a supportive space.
My Experience
In regards to experience in tutoring, I have been a peer tutor at the university and also sat on the committee of my university feminist society, meaning I am a capable individual when it comes to organising work and presenting my teaching in a manner that is relatable and straightforward. Regarding babysitting, I have taken care of many of my relatives and family friend's children. In employing me in a babysitting role you would be allowing me to work upon my babysitting experience as well as work with an individual with no pre-requisite concerning babysitting style. I am very happy to work around the family's needs in this sense.

4 month away from holding a Master of Arts in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh. predicted grade 2.1
My Availability
with prior notice I have a pretty open availability. However, preferably I would be working after school/evening. Also regarding days, this would be 1/2 days per week of my availability.
