My Requirements
We are a warm and friendly family based in Bromley looking for a reliable, caring babysitter to help care for our two young children on a part-time basis (3 days a week). We’re looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children.
Job Overview:
• flexible days a week between Monday to Sunday
• Hours: May include early starts, late finishes, or just school drop-offs/pick-ups (Monday to Friday)
• Children: Ages 2 and 4
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for the children
• Supporting drop-offs and pick-ups from school/nursery
• Supervising and engaging the children in play
• Helping with morning or evening routines
• Preparing snacks or light meals
• Light tidying up after the children
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience caring for young children
• Friendly, punctual, and trustworthy
• Flexible with days and hours
• DBS check preferred
• A calm, positive attitude

Hi,
Thank you for your review. I’m sorry that you had a terrible experience but please remember that I was struggling greatly with your son’s behaviour and the teachers at his school shared the same sentiments.
I understand that I put you in a difficult spot as I quit quite abruptly, however I was not comfortable being around a parent that is physically and verbally violent towards their child and put their child in danger with drug paraphernalia in their home. I can also understand why pointing this out can be considered as “personal”, but I couldn’t go against my values and boundaries as a childcare provider.
I hope after a whole year of reflection, you’ve moved on striving to become a good mum!
