My Summary

My Experience

I am currently casually employed at the Rainbow Club in Bailey's Activity Court, where we provide a fun, nurturing environment for for children of all ages. For example, craft activities and activities with the local community (such as the police and paramedics). I understand the importance of creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and have fun. During this time, I ran the local Lego club, where I would provide imaginative themes or ‘freestyle’ options for the children to partake in. After each week, the children would have the opportunity to present their work, and for me to upload them onto the library Facebook page. As a result, this increased the children’s sense of wellbeing, making them want to return to the group weekly. I also have my Health and Social Care GCSE, where I got a distinction*, and so understand child development with types of activities that can engage each of their senses. This included part time experience working in Sunrise Nursery in Swindon, where I planned and conducted activities with a group (such as paper plate animal crafts). I also learnt effective communication and basic first aid from this course.

My Qualifications

I am enhanced DBS checked.
BSc (Hons) Forensic Science Degree- University of the West of England, Bristol. Current.
Achieved ABB in A-Level Biology, Chemistry and English Literature.
Achieved 10 GCSEs all graded 6-9, including 9’s in English Literature and Language and 7 in Mathematics. Distinction* Health and Social Care.

My Availability

I am available weekday afternoons, except Tuesday, and the occasional weekend all day if discussed.
