About Me

We are looking for a nanny to help with a baby who will be 1 year old from September 2024.
The hours would be 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Both my partner and I will be at home throughout the day, as we are home workers, so we might be popping out of conference calls to come see our treasured cherub.

Values that are important to us are punctuality, reliability and a kind heart. We are looking for someone with high energy, who genuinely takes joy in being with a baby and guiding them through discovering the world. We believe that takes a special kind of person (needless to say, some patience at times). In our house, we treat everyone , especially our children, with respect, we do not shout at them and when we make mistakes, we apologise.

We are looking for someone to help with everything that pertains to the baby, including walks to the park, helping them engage in social activities, nap time and preparing healthy meals within the 9 to 5 interval. We do not expect the person to be cleaning, as we have a cleaner already, but tidying up after the baby and in the baby’s room is expected.

The older child does not need supervision (he’ll be almost 12).

Apart from the obvious payment of salary, we offer AMAZING coffee, a warm and understanding environment and some flexibility (as life does sometimes get in the way). We treat our helpers with respect, courtesy and try to make them a part of the family. There will be times when we will need babysitting as well, so we’re hoping to use the time from now to September to get the baby warmed up to their new special friend. This would create a chance for both parties to check if we are compatible.

If any of the above things don’t resonate, then we’re probably not a good fit for each other.
