About Me
Hello my name is Charlotte, I am a creative and energetic nanny who is looking for my next role with your family . I have an enhanced DBS certification from Wakefield local authority and a full clean driving license. (I will also be receiving my paediatric first aid training on march 16th).
I decided to become a nanny after finishing my A levels because I find that caring for and supporting children in their development really rewarding. Creativity is a big part of my life and I love using my skills to provide personalised activities such as crafting, music and story time. I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors and have found that introducing children to the diversity of nature is great for inspiring inquisitive young thinkers. Taking the children on trips out will be a lovely part of our regular routine for example : play groups, parks, adventurous walks and the library. I love caring Children of all ages but I have most experience in caring for newborns.

My Experience
I currently live with my family who have been fostering children in care for 2 years. This includes me having sole charge of the children on a daily basis. I have most experience with children from newborn to three but have also babysit children older. Here are a few important examples of my childcare skills and abilities:
- Providing daily care routines for newborn babies
- Bottle feeding
- Bathing
- Developing and supporting sleep and bedtime routines
- Baby LED weaning and preparing healthy snacks and meals
- Supporting cognitive development by providing a safe and nurturing age appropriate playful environment that enhances the children’s physical and mental well being
- Providing emotional support and comfort to the child
- Using creative play and outdoor activities to encourage new skills and build self-esteem
- Promoting language development with reading, singing and storytelling
- Helping to record and monitor milestone achievements and behaviours and communicating back daily cares.
- Supporting potty training and encouraging independence.
I also worked as a Play Assistant for 1 year. My tasks in this position included creating an encouraging and fun environment to play, monitoring play and assisting with parties and activities, general tidying and cleaning of the work area ensuring all areas are kept sanitised and safe.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 food and hygiene safety certificate and I love to cook using fresh healthy ingredients whilst exploring new flavour profiles from different cultures . I find including children in cooking and baking where age appropriate is great for developing new skills and a sense of accomplishment.
I also have A- levels in Fine Art and Creative photography, I enjoy using my photography skills as a way to capture milestones and memories. I have used this skill a lot with the children I have cared for to create memory books for them to keep with them.
